Eric Toda Appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at Air

Air has appointed Eric Toda as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Eric brings more than two decades of experience. In his new role, he will develop marketing strategies, drawing on extensive experience in marketing, technology, social media, consumer brands, digital platforms, and brand transformation.

Air is a creative operations and digital asset management platform founded in 2017 by Shane Hegde and Tyler Strand to help brand and marketing teams organise, approve, and distribute creative assets, with AI-powered search and tagging features

Before joining Air, Eric spent six years at Meta, serving as Director, Business Social, Executive Social, and Executive Director of Meta Prosper, where he directed enterprise marketing and communication strategy for the world's largest digital platforms. And global go-to-market deployment for Facebook’s corporate transition toMeta, successfully redefining the company's identity across international markets.  He also founded and led Meta Prosper, an initiative that supports the AAPI small-business community through strategic partnerships.

Previously, he worked as Head of Marketing for Hill City at Gap Inc. Before that, he was Global Head of Social Marketing and Editorial Content at Airbnb, where he led global digital brand strategies.

He was also Director, Marketing and Partnerships at Snap Inc., Global Digital Brand Marketing Director at Nike, and started his career at Facebook (Meta) as an Analyst, Media Delivery, progressing to Lead, North America - Media Solutions - Global Marketing Solutions. Moreover, Eric is an author, an ownership group/Board Director at Town FC and  Co-Chair of the Advisory Council at The Asian American Foundation.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Criminal Justice/Psychology from San Francisco State University.
