Andreas Bareis has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aston Martin Lagonda Limited, effective July 1, 2026. He brings significant international automotive experience to his new leadership role and a strong track record within Aston Martin.
Bareis joined Aston Martin in 2022, where he held several roles, including President and Managing Director of Aston Martin Europe and President of Aston Martin EMEA. Andreas has made a strong and positive contribution since joining the company, demonstrating clear leadership, energy and a deep understanding of our global commercial operations.
In 2025, he was elevated to a new role as Executive Director, Global Commercial, which is an intense period of new product introductions and first customer deliveries of key models, including the groundbreaking Valhalla hybrid supercar.
Before joining Aston Martin, he also served in various senior roles at Mercedes-Benz, Group Lotus plc, McLaren Automotive Ltd., A123 Systems, and Daimler AG.
In his new role, he will be responsible for leading Aston Martin's commercial operations across the Americas, traditionally the company's largest region by sales volume, with a focus on strengthening network performance, enhancing the customer experience and overseeing the continued growth of the brand.
With his deep expertise and proven capabilities, he will be instrumental as the company continues to strengthen its presence and deliver on its growth ambitions in this important market.
