Ondas to Acquire Roboteam in $80M Deal to Expand Robotics

Ondas Holdings has announced its intention to acquire Roboteam, an Israeli company specializing in rugged, multi-mission unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), in an $80 million deal. This acquisition aims to diversify and strengthen Ondas's portfolio by integrating aerial and ground robotics, anti-drone systems, and intelligence solutions within its autonomous systems segment.

Roboteam is known for manufacturing UGVs used in bomb disposal, intelligence gathering, and operations in hazardous environments. Their units vary in weight from 1.5 kilograms to over 1,000 kilograms. The company’s platforms are already deployed by militaries across more than 30 countries, including the United States and Israel, alongside other top-tier defense and security clients.

In addition to ground robots, Roboteam offers Roboteam HUB, a command and control platform that consolidates multiple robotic assets into a single operational interface, enhancing coordination and situational awareness.

Following this acquisition, Ondasexpects to see an increase in revenue of an estimated $3 to $4 million in the fourth quarter of 2025 and at least $30 million in the following year. The Israeli firm recently secured over $20 million in orders from an existing military client, with deliveries scheduled through fiscal 2026.

Eric Brock, CEO and Chairman of Ondas Holdings, highlighted the strategic importance of this move. He stated that integrating Roboteam would improve mission safety, interoperability, and operational efficiency for customers worldwide. Brock emphasized that this acquisition marks a critical step toward transforming Ondas into a systems-of-systems, multi-domain autonomy leader.

He added that Roboteam’s proven ground robotics complements Ondas’s autonomous aerial systems, allowing the creation of a cohesive technological ecosystem capable of supporting a broad spectrum of defense and public safety missions.
