With the recent announcement that the U.S. has presented a 15-point plan for resolving its issues with Iran, investor sentiment appears to be improving and may facilitate a one-month ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran. The financial markets are influenced by the war in the Middle East since oil to the world comes from that part of the globe. The possibility of a ceasefire may also mean a decline in oil pricesby 4% and assist in increasing the value of U.S. stock. However, the question remains whether an agreement on the ceasefire can be achieved, given that Iranian government officials have denied reports of direct U.S.-Iran negotiations. While this is happening, military activity continues to occur between Israeli forces and Iranian Forces.
