Viking Appoints Tyler Carter as Executive VP
Archer Aviation Inc. and Boeing announced the definitive agreement. According to the deal, Archer will acquire three Boeing-owned companies, including Wisk Aero, SkyGrid, and Insitu, to become much bigger in AI, autonomous aircraft, drones and defense technology.
Viking has appointed Tyler Carter as its Executive Vice President of Technology and Digital. In her new role, she will lead partnering across the business and building the technology, data and AI Capabilities that will help Viking continue growing.
Tyler brings more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles. Prior to Viking, she served 6 years at Walt Disney Company, where she managed roles like Senior Vice President of Disney Experiences Technology in Commerce and Vice President of Technology and Digital. Before that, she served 11 years at Starbucks, where she managed several roles like Vice President of Starbucks Technology at People Technology, Director of Starbucks Technology at Workforce Management Technology, Manager of Warehouse Management Technology, and Lead Systems Analyst & Senior Systems Analyst of Supply Chain Technology.
Earlier in her career, Tyler also worked at Expeditors as an IT lead and Senior Business Analyst on enterprise migration. She also worked as an Application Developer at DHL and as a Consultant at Arthur Andreson. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Information Systems from the University of Washington.
